Book Reports, Projects, or Presentations Due January 24!Please be prepared with your project, report, or presentation tomorrow.
Extra Help on TuesdaysI will be available for extra help for an hour after school on Tuesdays, beginning next week. This time may be used to make up work, study for tests, or for help on papers. Please take advantage of this extra time.
Book Reports and ProjectsIn lieu of reading logs this year, students will complete a book report/project every 6 weeks. Our next readings will be mysteries. These will be due the week of January 24th, so begin your readings now. Students must have their books in class on Friday, December 2 for approval. A link on this site has been provided for suggested readings.
Students are placed in one of three groups. Red--Last names begin with A-D Yellow--Last names begin with E-N Blue--Last names begin with O-Z January 24 Book ReportStudents will each read a science fiction or fantasy book of his or her own choosing. Each student has received the guidelines for his or her group's assignment. Written reports and book projects are due on the 24th. Oral presentations will begin on the 24th and end on the 27th.
On January 24, the students will present in one of three ways: 1. Book Review (Yellow) 2. Book Project (Blue) 3. Book Seller's Day (Red) Class Files
