We continue writing our career essays in class for the next week.  Using the computer lab, you gathered information from the internet on your career choice and organized the information into 3 separate T charts.
Paragraph 2--Career choice requirements, salary and benefits, and other prerequisites for entering your field
Paragraph 3--College choice and major, requirements to earn your degree
Paragraph 4--CSU/UC requirements, extra-curricular, and volunteer opportunities to beef up your college application.
Each day, we will write a rough draft of each paragraph.  Make sure T Charts are ready to go on Monday.
Bring a flash drive to save your information each day. .

Canyon Hills will hold its annual Spelling Bee on December 15 and 16.  All students will be tested on 20 words from the list, and the highest scoring students will compete against the other Language Arts classrooms in order to represent Canyon Hills at the district, county, state, and, hopefully, the national level.  Click on the file below to view and study the words.

This year you will have a chance to not only enhance your understanding of American Literature, but to also focus on your future plans, and, more importantly, how to turn them into reality.  This promises to be a great year!
